Neighbors Helping Neighbors

If you didn't know, radon tends to be high in certain communities. If your neighbor has high levels then you are more likely to. This is because radon comes from uranium in the soil and homes close together likely have similar soil geology.

This is most definitely the case in Streetsboro, OH where most communities have elevated radon levels. 

A group of neighbors took it upon themselves to test their homes after seeing other properties in the area with radon systems. One house tested at around 12 pCi/L and the other closer to 20. 

Because they had contacted us together we considered them to be a "group project" and gave them a discount. Both homes were able to be mitigated well below the action level of 4 pCi/L and hopefully their neighbors ask them about their system and have their own homes tested.
